Job Description: Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting ManagerThis critical role will support our financial reporting process and equity accounting while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Accounting and Reporting and have the opportunity to work in a hybrid schedule, spending at least two days per week in our San Francisco office.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Prepare quarterly and annual reports, including research and draft newly applicable disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Benchmark peer disclosures in the annual report as applicable.
- Develop and/or review supporting schedules for financial statements, footnote disclosures, management discussion and analyses, and maintain complete tie-out documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly close reporting packages to senior management, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for responsible accounting subject matters.
- Support scaling processes through automation by working on system implementations and enhancements.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field, with CPA certification a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, including 2-3 years of technical accounting and SEC reporting experience, with a mix of Big 4 accounting firms and private/publicly traded companies.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Audit or corporate accounting experience is required.
- Experience with Workday and accounting of profit interest awards is a plus.
An attractive salary range of $114,000 - $153,000 USD, making this an exciting opportunity for experienced accountants seeking a challenging role with a dynamic company.
