Job Title: Process Controls Network Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Process Controls Network Support Specialist to join our team at Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls. This role will be located at our manufacturing site in Freeport, TX.

Job Summary:

This position provides second-level troubleshooting and non-standard maintenance of process control networks. The successful candidate will plan and execute tasks associated with updates to process control hardware in-use across Olin, leveraging learnings from other plants and projects across the site.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-level troubleshooting and non-standard maintenance of process control networks
  • Plan and execute tasks associated with updates to process control hardware in-use across Olin
  • Leverage learnings from other plants and projects across the site
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (preferred) or High School Diploma/equivalent with 3 years of relevant technical experience
  • Troubleshooting skills in one or more information technology/operational technology applications
  • Experience with the design, layout, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
  • Experience and understanding of DeltaV, MOD5, or other commercial process control systems, software, and/or hardware
  • Experience setting up and maintaining electronic communication between the main Control System and ancillary devices (Bentley, LIMS, etc), PLCs, or AspenTech IP21 applications
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
