Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial documentation.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in crafting annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget discrepancies and provide insightful analysis to management.
- Recommend cost-saving strategies.

General Ledger Oversight:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations performed by junior staff.

Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to project future financial performance.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Audit Coordination:
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and support to facilitate a smooth audit process.

Process Enhancement:
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA or CPA eligibility is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with various accounting systems, including Dynamics 365, SAP, Concur, and/or Blackline.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with general ledger management and reconciliations.
