About the Role

Cetera Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Planning Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial planning consultants and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review new account paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Organize and prepare client review materials, meeting agendas, and weekly meeting updates.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments to resolve outstanding issues for financial planning consultants, certified public accountants, and clients.
  • Responsible for completing service requests and verification on behalf of clients.
  • Assist financial planning consultants with ongoing client communication, including the status of new and existing accounts, birthday reminders, cards, and letters.
  • Update and maintain the client relationship management database, including data entry, service requests, and communication records.
  • Process client requests regarding new contributions and distribution of funds.
  • Communicate regularly with clients through phone and email to provide expedient and accurate information to financial planning consultants and certified public accountants.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree (A.A.), two-year technical, or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Previous experience supporting financial professionals is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry or administrative services is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft program suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in a customer/client-facing role.
