Job Summary

This role is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and filing of various financial regulatory reports in compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of various work papers and supporting schedules, ensuring filings and documentation are complete, accurate, and comply with regulatory reporting guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file financial regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete reporting.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies and external auditors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Active CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two to three years of accounting experience in a public accounting firm or corporate accounting department.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulatory reporting rules and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet tight filing deadlines.
