Job Description:

As a Solar Technician at BHE Renewables, LLC, you will be responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on all PV Solar equipment, including parts replacement, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar facilities. You will also perform energy isolation to complete assigned tasks, prepare and implement switching and clearance orders, and work with the Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of all electrical generation and distribution equipment associated with PV Solar equipment.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and calibration of instruments in a complex distributed control system, inverter troubleshooting, and other maintenance work.
  • Operate and inspect forklifts, trucks, and other powered equipment as authorized.
  • Complete required training and perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree; with one to three years of experience or related education of power plant operation/maintenance or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical fundamentals of PV systems in power facilities.
  • A valid California driver's license is required.

Salary Range: $51.68
