Tool Design Engineer Project Manager

Our client, a world leader in aerospace, is seeking a highly skilled Tool Design Engineer Project Management professional to join their team.
About the Role:This is a contract position that will involve working with the Tooling Department to manage the engineering project of tool design and fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting cost and schedule requirements, as well as coordinating with various groups and reporting out status and evaluating risk to schedule and budget.

- Meet cost and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate with various groups, including design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and program operations leadership.
- Report out status and evaluate risk to schedule and budget.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and deliver presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders.
- Define, plan, perform, monitor, control, and complete a variety of project tasks.
- Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties, including tracking budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against the full EV performance management baseline.
- Coordinate with the scheduling team to develop and execute to an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Coordinate Change Requests with the Business Management and Scheduling team as needed.
- Work to targeted cost, schedule, and staffing requirements.
- Support logistics team, generate staffing requirements, documentation, forecasts.
- Facilitate internal meetings to support staffing, ensuring the staffing needs meet the staffing baseline.
- Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
- Perform full project monitoring, including requirements traceability, SOW shredding, facilitation of team meetings, tracking and closing action items, and presentation creation for all levels of leadership.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
- 2 years of related experience.
- Above-average knowledge of Excel, data manipulation, and synthesis, project development, Gantt chart development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization, having excellent presentation skills.
- Sense of urgency, problem-solving, good oral communication, and detail-oriented.
