Mission Design Engineer/Senior Mission Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Design Engineer/Senior Mission Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Performance and Control Analysis group, you will provide technical, systems engineering, and programmatic leadership for mission design areas, including mass properties and flight operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership for mission design areas, including mass properties and flight operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mission design solutions
- Manage launch verification efforts for mission design and flight operations
- Manage launch vehicle certification efforts for mission design and mass properties
- Mentor less experienced team members and serve as a role model
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Eight or more years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience in trajectory and performance analysis
- Knowledge of or experience with launch vehicle subsystems
- Ability to interface effectively with senior management, customers, and contractor counterparts
- Advanced degree in engineering or technical discipline
- Knowledge in mass properties and/or flight operations
- Familiarity with National Security Space launch systems and operations
- Experience with other Performance and Control Analysis disciplines
