Position Overview:
Amergis Staffing is actively looking for dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide exceptional care for elderly patients in a long-term care setting.

Contract Details:
Duration: 4 weeks (with potential for extension)

Available Shifts:
- Part-time: 3p-11p (22.5 hrs/week)
- Full-time: 40 hrs/week (weekend shifts)

Work Environment:
- Long-Term Care/Special Needs Facility

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and document care accurately in the facility's electronic medical records.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.

Essential Qualifications:
- Active Maryland CNA with Geriatric Certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience with memory care patients is preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions.
