Religious Education Program Coordinator

Responsibilities:


Oversee the implementation of faith-based education initiatives tailored to the unique cultural and educational contexts of military families, under the guidance and assessment of the Catholic Priest.

Evaluate educational resources and provide insights to the Catholic Priest for the development of a comprehensive Catholic Religious Education Program (CREP) catering to both adults and youth, spanning from preschool to high school.

Develop, organize, and manage curricula for classes and religious events that engage the Catholic community throughout the calendar year.

Facilitate ongoing professional development for all instructors involved in Catholic religious education, including their recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Maintain essential statistical documentation to track student attendance, material costs, personal records, and other pertinent information necessary for the effective operation of the program.


Qualifications:
A minimum of an associate degree or at least one year of experience in religious education instruction is required. Experience in managing extensive, multi-session religious education programs for both adults and children is highly desirable.
Familiarity with military leadership structures or participation in military chapel services is advantageous.
Must demonstrate sensitivity to diverse religious perspectives and collaborate effectively with individuals of varying faiths.
A thorough understanding and alignment with the doctrines, practices, liturgy, sacraments, history, traditions, and organizational structure of the Roman Catholic Church is essential.
