We are currently in search of a Web and Technology Coordinator to significantly contribute to our digital presence and analytics capabilities while assisting staff with their technological requirements.

Position Overview:

The Web and Technology Coordinator will be tasked with managing the organization's online platforms, generating analytics reports, and addressing internal software and hardware needs. Responsibilities include ensuring the security, updates, and optimization of our websites, implementing and maintaining diverse web technologies, and analyzing web traffic data. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills related to Google Suite, Wordpress, Box, and various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS), along with experience in database management and bulk email distribution. As a compact organization, we seek an adaptable individual willing to undertake a variety of tasks as projects and priorities evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of the organization's websites.
  • Implement and oversee web technologies to improve site functionality.
  • Monitor website performance and resolve technical and security challenges.
  • Generate custom reports utilizing analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives to boost organic search visibility.
  • Document technical procedures and develop user manuals.
  • Manage internal tools including Google Suite, email, document collaboration, databases, and archives.
  • Oversee marketing tools for bulk email and user communication preferences.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues and provide technical support.
  • Research and report on emerging technologies, evolving privacy regulations, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience with various web-based platforms in a nonprofit, corporate, or governmental context.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (such as Wordpress) and learning management systems (like Canvas).
  • Experience with Google Analytics and related reporting tools, SEO, and marketing tools for bulk email and social media.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
