Job Overview:

The Retail Associate is responsible for performing cash handling duties, which include processing transactions, managing cash drawers, providing change, and preparing cash reports. Additional responsibilities may include general food service tasks while ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Input all sales into the cash register to ensure precise record-keeping.
  • Handle cash, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts to customers.
  • Follow established procedures for processing cash refunds.
  • Engage with customers and address any inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned cash funds and ensure compliance with cash handling standards.
  • Monitor customer purchases and ensure proper portion sizes.
  • Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while keeping service areas tidy.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory management procedures.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
