Sheetmetal Foreman

Southern Air, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sheetmetal Foreman to join our team in Lynchburg, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our sheet metal installation and repair teams in commercial and public buildings.

• Lead and supervise sheet metal installation and repair teams
• Read and interpret drawings and P&ID schematics
• Provide hands-on leadership to field crews and ensure jobs are completed on schedule
• Supervise and direct Lead Mechanics, Mechanics, and Apprentices
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products associated with commercial HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems

• Eight years of experience in the sheet metal field
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong relationship-building skills with crew, clients, customers, and vendors
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions and procedures

• Competitive salary range: $16 - $37 an hour
