Job Opportunity at Maricopa Community College District

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team at Estrella Mountain Community College. This is a full-time position that will provide coordination and instruction for block one students in the associate degree nursing program.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct a diverse population of students in a classroom, lab/simulation, and clinical settings.
  • Develop and enhance knowledge of subject matter taught and individual training skills required to remain current with new trends and developments in the field.
  • Engage in the academic life of the college by participating in district-wide and campus committees and activities.
  • Maintain office hours to assist and advise students.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree plus three (3) years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care, or a BSN and a graduate degree and two (2) years' experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care, or a graduate degree in nursing and two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care.
  • Must hold an Arizona registered nurse license in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona by the first day of employment.
  • Must be able to meet health and safety requirements including CPR certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and drug testing.
