Key Responsibilities
+ Supervises the nursing care delivered by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and other staff members.
+ Reviews and implements nursing protocols and operational systems.
+ Assesses and evaluates the processes that ensure high-quality care for residents and the performance of the nursing team.
+ Employs a systematic approach in the nursing process to deliver personalized nursing care.
+ Contributes to resident assessments (MDS/CAAs) and the formulation and execution of care plans.
+ Evaluates resident responses to nursing interventions.
+ Understands the rationale behind medication and treatment protocols and administers them accurately as required.
Qualifications
+ Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
+ Current state nursing licensure is mandatory.
+ Current CPR certification and additional specialty nursing certifications are preferred.
+ Previous management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is advantageous.
