Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end process for a single software or multiple products and business process services. This role will work with customers, functional and matrix managers, and staff to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, consistent with defined company guidelines and processes and with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee one or more software products end-to-end, and assist in the direction of particular project-level activity and associated team personnel
  • Work under general supervision
  • Maintain relationship with client, project scope can increase in complexity and size
  • Manage client relationships at the client customer work site
  • Provide project management for prime or sub-contractor, fixed price, or time and materials projects
  • Provide project management on projects with a team size that is up to 100 employees concurrently
  • Provide project management on projects with annual total contract value of up to $50M and complexity (hours) of up to $300,000 hours
  • Provide end-to-end responsibility for one or more products, sub-systems or level responsibilities
  • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Manage project risk by working with project schedulers to track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones; monitor costs and schedules using EVM and other tools
  • Oversee and develop a feasible plan for one or more software products that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization's overall business strategy

  • Determine project scope and recommending and assigning resources as available
  • Determine estimated time and financial commitment of project, and in monitoring progress
  • Implement, maintain, and report Earned Value (EV) metrics into project plans

  • Assist in monitoring and developing a project budget and tracking actual spend compared to the planned budget, escalating to senior leadership as needed
  • Partner with customers and analyze issues and problems from the customer perspective
  • Provide customer-facing presentations on quality
  • Communicate and provide status to define, schedule, and accurately estimate the task duration for project schedule
  • Possess unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence
  • Keep abreast of new technology and market developments
  • Adhere to CMMI standards and processes
  • Manage internal customer relationships for long-term corporate success
  • Request and give both negative and positive feedback
  • Recruit highly skilled, motivated leaders and individual contributors and recommend potential new hire resources to meet client commitments in alignment with program delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with up to 10 years of relevant experience in project planning, delivery, and management (Preferred Majors: Business Science Mathematics, Analytics)
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Experience in the government or commercial healthcare industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Understanding of SharePoint applications, Webex, Skype, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals

The pay range for this position is $102,000 - $134,000 a year. Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
