Project Manager Job Description

At MEI Rigging & Crating, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including project coordinators, engineers, and contractors.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Quality Control: Ensure projects meet quality standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Budgeting: Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of construction or project management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
