Job Title: Service Excellence Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Service Excellence Associate to join our team at JACKMONT HOSPITALITY INC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service experiences to our guests.

About the Role:
In this role, you will set places at dining tables, take orders, serve food and drinks, answer inquiries about menu items, and attend to the wishes of our guests. You will also suggestively sell food and drinks to enhance their experience. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, building rapport, and ensuring an enjoyable quality dining experience. Additionally, you will promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from guests, ensure expedient service of food and beverages, and check frequently to ensure everything meets their specifications. Furthermore, you will learn TGIF menu and beverages, expertly recommend and upsell on items, and identify all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger. Following relevant brand standards for service, you will accurately ring all orders into the POS system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests and build rapport.
  • Take food and beverage requests from guests.
  • Ensure expedient service of food and beverages.
  • Check frequently to ensure everything meets guest specifications.
  • Learn TGIF menu and beverages.
  • Expertly recommend and upsell on items.
  • Identify all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
  • Accurately ring all orders into the POS system.

Salary: $32,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise.
  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Must be able to operate P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions accurately.
  • Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager.
  • Must be able to read and write notes to hearing-impaired guests.
  • Must be able to read menus to sight-impaired guests.
  • Must be able to verbalize menu items clearly to guests while taking their orders or responding to their requests.
