Senior Manager Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to join our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively partner with various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the HR function, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance.
  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans to ensure adequate resources are available to meet business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and support professional development and career progression.
  • Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards and company goals.
  • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments related to employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with a record of high academic achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with expertise in areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is essential for this role.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing complex employee relations issues effectively.
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all aspects of HR management.
