Key Responsibilities
  • Support a team of Account Managers in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Review and update plan attributes in the Benefits Account Management System following each renewal.
  • Work with carriers to request materials for customers and/or follow up on previous requests made by the Account Managers.
  • Support Account Managers with processing adds, terms or changes to employee enrollments.
  • Communicate with carriers regarding customer billing discrepancies or simple claims issues.
  • Generate personalized forms for each customer.
  • Review carrier contracts for accuracy.
  • Draft employee communications materials for peer review by Account Managers.
  • Request information from insurance carriers on behalf of our customers.
  • Read and respond to all emails within 1 business day.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality of information processed.
  • Duties are done in a team environment.
  • Attend in-house educational sessions/classes as requested by leadership.
  • Any other tasks the department deems necessary.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Acquire Life & Health License within 90 days of hire.
