Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of both new and refurbished submersible electric motor-driven pumps and related products. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of parts to ensure quality standards.
- Assembling pumps with precision and care.
- Performing mechanical and electrical testing to validate product performance.
- Documenting processes and maintaining accurate production logs.
- Identifying and selecting appropriate parts for assembly.
- Preparing products for shipment and ensuring timely delivery.
- Processing necessary paperwork and modifying parts as needed.
- Carrying out facility maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Hard Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing or similar setting.
- Strong proficiency in assembling mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently with minimal training.
Job Type
This position is classified as Contract-to-Hire, offering a duration of 6 months.
Work Environment
This role requires on-site presence, and you will be handling pumps of various sizes, utilizing hand trucks or overhead cranes as necessary. Our workplace fosters a family-like atmosphere, emphasizing wellness and performance, complemented by regular wellness and company update meetings. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM.
