We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team in the Residential Well-being program at Virginia Tech. As an Embedded Counselor, you will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to provide mental health support and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Conduct crisis interventions and after-hours on-call rotations as needed
- Develop and implement outreach and educational programs to promote mental health and well-being
- Collaborate with Residential Well-being staff to provide wrap-around support to students
- Masters degree in clinical or counseling psychology or social work
- Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Supervised experience in a mental health setting
