Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Goldrich Kest. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance needs of our properties, ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of our buildings, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise daily maintenance activities, prioritizing tasks and evaluating performance
  • Coordinate move-in schedules, repairs, and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Manage service requests and work orders, communicating effectively with residents and vendors
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to support leasing efforts, enhance resident experience, and achieve occupancy goals
  • Lead and develop maintenance staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
  • Proficient in English language, with intermediate computer skills and knowledge of maintenance services
Working Conditions:

This role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy items, and other physical activities. Exposure to seasonal temperatures and various environmental factors should be expected.
