We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Los Angeles County Development Authority. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing journey-level electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring systems and electrical fixtures in buildings and facilities.
- Test circuits for continuity and proper connections.
- Use standard and specialized electrical devices or equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, ohmmeters, and other hand tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of housing development electrical systems and wiring.
- Make electrical tests for shorts, grounds, open circuits, open neutrals, and other difficulties on primary and secondary electrical systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in the installation, alteration, and repair of commercial and residential electrical wiring systems.
- Valid Electrician certification issued by the State of California.
