Responsibilities:

1. Deliver expert service to our clientele by repairing and overhauling equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely execution that surpasses customer expectations.

2. Execute expert repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors in a safe and timely manner.

3. Conduct preventative maintenance for clients by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies to guarantee quality performance.

4. Support departmental operations by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.

5. Provide necessary training to new or less experienced technicians as required.

6. Maintain proper inventory in the service vehicle and operate the company vehicle safely.

7. Perform additional related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. In-depth knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC systems, ice machines, and gas furnaces.

2. Proficient understanding of single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in coolers.

3. Ability to troubleshoot and repair computerized control systems.

4. Strong mechanical aptitude.

5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and management.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Coursework from an accredited vocational or technical school.

- Relevant experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, and gas furnaces is required.

- Experience working with refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket settings.

- Must have achieved Tech Skills level 7 with a score of 80% or higher.

- Valid driver’s license and CFC Certifications are mandatory.
