**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Process Development Specialist to join our team at Benchmark Electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing processes for customer products and manufacturing tooling.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve material or process-related production issues and concerns.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, process controls, new materials evaluations, and automated equipment used in the packaging and assembly of Hi-Reliability hybrid electronics.
  • Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve material or process-related production issues and concerns.
  • Support internal design reviews, program readiness reviews, design for manufacturability, and new product development.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing assembly processes for microelectronic components.
  • Strong software knowledge - quality analysis tools, machine automation programming, Microsoft Office.

**Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
