At Seattle Children's, we are seeking a skilled Perioperative Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful contribution to the care of our patients.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently. As a Perioperative Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling new patient appointments, follow-up pre-op and post-op visits, and coordinating with our OR team to ensure maximum room utilization.

You will also work closely with families to plan and coordinate services throughout the surgical experience. This includes scheduling diagnostic tests, procedures, and recalls, as well as managing patient records and collaborating with clinic staff to ensure seamless communication.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of healthcare scheduling experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience is required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Associate's Degree or at least two years of college coursework in health care or a related field is preferred.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $24.16 - $36.24 per hour, based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
