We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Mechanical Service Technician II to join our team at Clean Harbors. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the upstream, downstream, and utility sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with leaking components, reporting findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams.
  • Conduct leak mitigation tasks, including identifying situations requiring the use of safety equipment and completing necessary documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with company products and services to better assist customers.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required; further education in a technical field or relevant college coursework is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial operations or maintenance roles preferred.
  • Versatile in handling various tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Able to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Familiarity with plant maintenance and repair is beneficial.
  • Able to follow supervisors' instructions precisely.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • HAZWOPER training certification is a plus.
  • Willing to travel 50-70% of the time.
Work Environment

This role is based at a branch or on-site location and involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings. You will be required to work near production machinery with high noise levels and use personal protective equipment. Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions is essential.
