About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Specimen Collector to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and processing clinical specimens, working closely with healthcare providers and other laboratory staff to achieve high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process clinical specimens, following established laboratory protocols and quality control procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and supply ordering as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinic setting desired
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
