Travel CVOR Technologist

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Technologist to join our team at a top healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington. As a CVOR Technologist with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cardiovascular operating room cases and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
About the Job:
This 13-week contract position offers a competitive salary of $$105,000 per year, based on a 10-hour shift schedule with 40 hours worked per week. Our client is offering a tax-free stipend for housing, as well as reimbursement for meals and incidentals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform treatments per protocols.
- Function proficiently in scrubbing, 2nd circulating, and 3rd person/Heart Holder roles of the CVOR.
- Pick supplies for surgeries, set up instruments and scrubs for surgical procedure, and perform instrument and sponge count accurately.
- Obtain specimens, hand over to circulating nurse and verifies location.
- Facilitate room turnover time.
- Participate in department on-call schedule.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
- Current CPR provider card.
- Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population.
- Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
