Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at The Swift Group. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing requirements and providing direction on design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing requirements and providing direction on design concepts
  • Review feasibility and realism of systems and provide assessments
  • Provide technical coordination and communication between project teams and leadership
  • Work within a team to evaluate conditions, propose modifications, and develop design changes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • BS in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, process/controls, electrical, or computer engineering
  • Experience with evaluation, selection, and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria for mid to large scale components and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or designing processing equipment, including pressurized vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, blowers, and
  • Experience with maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability, longevity, and up-time
  • Proficient in communication, organizational skills, and technical writing

Security Clearance:

  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
