We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on all plant mechanical systems and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including fillers, conveyors, and case erectors.
- Use test equipment to diagnose and fix equipment problems.
- Maintain accurate work logs of repairs and equipment modifications.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read and utilize prints and drawings of components and mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical skills and technical aptitude.
- Proven organizational, logical, and detailed troubleshooting methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using a personal computer and related software.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting of automated systems.
- Journeyman's Certification as a Mechanic.
Work Environment:
This is a 3rd shift position, working 10pm-6am. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to support production needs.
Compensation:
$28.00 to $32.00 per hour. Full medical benefits and other perks.
