Job Description

Verista is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support staff and on-site resources to ensure seamless automation operations
  • Setup and troubleshoot automation activities, including MES responsibilities and Syncade administrative settings
  • Test MES integrations, simulate commands, and configure printers, scales, and barcode scanners
  • Support PCS responsibilities, including troubleshooting and project management
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of RFPs and bidder/vendor analysis for general contracting and engineering services
  • Work with project controls to prepare and update project status, schedule, resource, and cost reports within Oracle-based tools
  • Identify and oversee system integrations, coordinate engineering and automation design, commissioning, qualification, and QA/Validation groups
  • Proactively look for and recommend improvements in site processes and procedures
  • Represent the Capital Project Automation group with excellent communication and presentation skills
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with Syncade and MES - Master Data setup and administration, and integrations
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision, meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and effectively communicate updates
  • Experience with communicating with executive management and providing direction support for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be very organized, possess strong verbal and written communications skills, and be proficient with Internet navigation, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Should be flexible to working outside core business hours as needed
