Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Touch Sensing Design Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our iPhone Touch Sensing Technology team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-precision, low-latency MultiTouch solutions that set the gold standard in the smartphone and mobile industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional partners to design, develop, and integrate next-generation touch sensing technologies.
  • Design and characterize sensors, and validate their performance.
  • Develop and apply ASIC designs, and integrate them into systems.
  • Contribute to sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations.
  • Analyze failures, diagnose root causes, and solve system-level problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the industry, with a strong background in sensor physics, analog analysis, circuit design, linear algebra, and statistics.
  • Experience with sensor and systems integration, system-level design, architecture, characterization, and validation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and lead teams.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools.
