Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer for Sensing Technologies at Apple, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation sensing technologies for our products. This includes developing sensors that provide fingerprint biometrics to Apple's products. You will work on schematic capture, module and flex design, leading multi-functional integration discussions and coexistence assessments, and validation of the module design and feature at all nodes of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sensors that provide fingerprint biometrics to Apple's products
- Work on schematic capture, module and flex design
- Lead multi-functional integration discussions and coexistence assessments
- Validate the module design and feature at all nodes of the supply chain

Requirements

- Strong EE fundamentals, demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development
- Circuit design and layout experience (Cadence experience a plus)
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, meters, etc) and circuit simulation (SPICE)
- Experience creating engineering design, requirement, and specification documents
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python scripting tools
- Experience with statistical analysis of production data is a plus (JMP, Tableau)
- Experience in FEA, simulation, modeling tools is a plus (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell)
