Mental Health Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Mental Health Milieu Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and therapeutic environment. This includes managing supplies, communicating with the corporate office, and overseeing the intake process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Discovery Mission statement and be able to ensure that all activities align with it.
Responsibilities:
- Manage facility supplies, including ordering groceries and managing related expenses.
- Provide feedback to the corporate office regarding facility issues on a weekly basis.
- Perform and assign safety drills monthly, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
- Complete temperature logs, safety logs, scale calibration logs, and dishwasher temperature logs regularly.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and create treatment team overview notes as needed.
- Oversee the client intake process, complete related paperwork, and review consents at admission.
- Manage client charts, ensuring new charts are opened and closed in a timely manner.
- Run groups when necessary and provide oversight of groups led by other staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior experience as a residential counselor in a milieu setting preferred but not required.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
