About the Role:

This position plays a critical role in coordinating the services of an Interdisciplinary Team of mental health professionals, providing psychiatric evaluation and review, medication monitoring, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and individual and group therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the services of an Interdisciplinary Team of mental health professionals.
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and review, medication monitoring, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and individual and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with other programs in AMHS, CMHA-CEI, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor outcomes and data related to services, and participate in program planning and development.
  • Carry out all activities of the program/sub-unit in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • State of Michigan credential required.
  • Minimum three years' work experience with individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
  • At least one year of work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position.
  • Leadership and good judgment skills required.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively in writing and verbally.

Conditional Employment Requirements:

  • Offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of background verification and credentialing procedure.
  • Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history.

Salary/Hours:

Starting salary $62,881 - $73,150 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $93,966 per year. 40 hours per week.
