Team Dynamics
I lead one of five Practice Managers overseeing implementation teams. Our team thrives on collaboration and mutual support. We hold weekly status meetings where everyone can share updates, seek advice, or discuss scenarios. I am dedicated to supporting my team in enhancing their expertise and ensuring their success.
We maintain a professional atmosphere, expecting each member to be self-motivated, proactive, and deliver high-quality work for our clients.
My team comprises 2 Project Managers, 3 Delivery Managers, and 9 Consultants across North America, while the entire Commercial Loan Servicing (CLS) Consulting Services team globally consists of 70 members.
Role Responsibilities
You will oversee the technical teams, including yourself, on various projects and coordinate with FIS technical (System support, Network, and Development) and business aspects to support clients effectively.
Your role will ensure the provision of continuous and effective services, leading to successful project completions in line with contract specifications. You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement in client projects and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
You will advise and engage in various development projects, coordinating with FIS technical teams (System support, Network, and Development) while leveraging your business acumen to support client projects.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the delivery of continuous and effective services and achieving successful project outcomes as per contract requirements. You will also identify areas for continuous improvement in client projects and internal processes.
- Proficient understanding of FIS systems and the industries in which FIS operates.
- Solid working knowledge of C# development and debugging tools.
- Experience in Commercial Banking Business.
- Proficiency in LANSA programming, including knowledge of C# (API) and SQL.
- Familiarity with principles of various application development methodologies and their interdependencies.
- Knowledge of complex functions and features of installed database management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lending on ACBS or CLS.
- Knowledge of Commercial Banking business in processing, accounting, or analysis.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities using learned techniques and tools.
- Requires interpersonal, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Team-oriented skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of FIS systems and the competitive landscape.
- Experience with APIs.
- Ability to comprehend various programming languages and concepts.
