Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. This includes repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety and security systems, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the property remains in good condition.
- Perform highly diversified duties, including but not limited to, painting, cleaning, and grounds upkeep.
- Ensure all job duties are conducted in accordance with company policy and all safety protocols.
- Support the overall objective of meeting the expectations of the Client, based on the respective operating capital budget and management agreement.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
- Must be able to wear a respirator, and have the ability to be medically fit for duty and cleared to wear a respirator, and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
