We're seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Salem, VA. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in crafting high-quality security products, working with cutting-edge tools and robotics to ensure precision and accuracy in every aspect of your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret work orders to assemble and pack security products, adhering to precise specifications.
- Operate a variety of machinery and tools to craft products that meet our quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with team leaders to align production efforts with schedules, ensuring timely and efficient output.
- Proactively manage materials and equipment, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the smooth operation of your production cell.
- Uphold our commitment to excellence by conducting thorough quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with a knack for precision and a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Prior assembly experience is a plus, but we believe in the potential of our team members and offer comprehensive training.
- Detail-oriented mindset with basic math and computer skills, ensuring accuracy in every aspect of your work.
- Team player with excellent mobility for moving across workstations and handling tasks that require lifting up to 40 pounds (occasionally).
