Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to public safety and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fire safety inspections and provide information to the public on fire prevention and safety.
  • Respond to emergency fire alarms and provide fire suppression and rescue services.
  • Operate various pieces of fire equipment and gear, including fire apparatus and rescue vehicles.
  • Provide emergency and non-emergency medical procedures, including patient care and transportation.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle and equipment inspections and ensure all discrepancies are documented and reported.
  • Participate in all required training sessions, including live fire drills and ongoing skills maintenance.
Requirements
  • IL certified BOF
  • IL State issued EMT-P/Paramedic
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Must possess IDPH EMT-/P license
  • Illinois certified BOF
  • AHA CPR card
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Successful background investigations with MVR, & criminal records
  • Physical fitness/agility
  • Drug/alcohol screening
