As a Behavioral Health Tech at Grandview Medical Center, you will play a vital role in promoting therapeutic environments to enhance wellness among patients. Your responsibilities will include initiating and conducting group activities, providing direct care to patients under the guidance of professional nursing personnel, and assisting nursing and clinical staff to maintain the therapeutic milieu.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psycho-educational classes to promote patient understanding and engagement
  • Providing direct care to patients under the direction of professional nursing personnel
  • Assisting nursing and clinical staff to maintain a therapeutic environment
  • Interacting with patients to promote therapeutic environments and enhance wellness
