Job Title: RN/LPN - Behavioral Health Clinic

Christ Health Center Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN/Social Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, distinctively Christian care to patients with behavioral health disorders.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Clinic team, you will provide nursing care to patients under the direction of our staff psychiatrist, ensuring a seamless and patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients with behavioral health disorders, including administering medications, completing patient history and disability forms, and phone-in prescriptions as needed.
  • Procure and store clinical supplies, medications, and phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Use Telephone Triage Protocols for Nurses as a guide for clinical advice and defer to the provider when answers are unclear.
  • Refill routine medications as instructed in the nursing refill protocol.
  • Assist with recognizing the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework, and maintain constructive relationships in dealing with them.
  • Understand CHC's relationship with the community and maintain a positive image and relationships.
  • Attend and participate in in-service education for staff, quality assurance program, and risk-management programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-direct with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program for registered nurses.
  • Current RN license.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • 1 year psychiatric or behavioral health experience is preferred.
  • LPN or Social Worker.
