Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy individual who is ready to take on a rotating variety of senior-level campaign tasks and responsibilities. This is a fast-paced position with lots of quick turnaround deadlines and regularly shifting work plans. You will report directly to the Electoral Strategist and work closely with our team to execute an ambitious voter contact strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and revising job descriptions
  • Conducting job interviews and making hiring recommendations
  • Managing staff as needed
  • Creating reporting documents and dashboards
  • Evaluating canvass launches and other voter contact activities
  • Creating meeting agendas
  • Fostering organizational culture
  • Coaching managers and other staff on best practices
  • Using VAN to pull reports, create universes, and cut turf
Requirements

Work Environment

Employees can be hybrid, but must be based in the State of Michigan. Team members are located throughout the state, with our headquarters being in Detroit. There will be in-person events, meetings, and activities. The time commitment expectation for this position is campaign hours: roughly 50 hours per week with an increase in activity as we approach November. Evenings and weekends are occasionally required. There will be periodic travel around the state, with intermittent out-of-state travel.
