Overview

Hines is a leading global real estate investment manager with a diverse portfolio spanning $93.2 billion in assets across various property types. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Associate Intern.

This role will provide administrative and financial support to senior management, assisting with all aspects of real estate investment and development projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including project management, financial analysis, and asset management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior management, including data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Assist with project management, including feasibility analysis, entitlement processes, and construction management.
  • Participate in asset management, including tenant relations, investor relations, and communications.
  • Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules for significant variances.
  • Assist with leasing and marketing of properties.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including investors, market research personnel, and construction groups.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and related experience considered in lieu of post-undergraduate studies; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Three or more years of work experience with a professional organization, with a record of project success or experience.
  • Two or more years related experience in real estate or in a financial analysis role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to leverage technology and internet to perform all job functions at the highest level.
