About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Unaccompanied Children Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide trauma-informed treatment planning and delivery to youth in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants, including group work and family therapy
  • Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for youth
  • Coordinate services for each youth in conjunction with Case Managers
  • Participate in staff meetings and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs
  • Attend, facilitate, and assist with providing on-going education and support services to foster parents
  • Provide record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities in accordance with program and contractor policy
  • Provide crisis intervention and guidance to youth and foster families regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies
  • Provide community-based counseling to youth
  • Comply with laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work with clinical experience; OR Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement
  • Licensure to provide clinical services in Michigan or eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration
  • Prior experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred
  • At least two (2) years of experience in child welfare/case management, strongly preferred
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish strongly preferred; additional compensation for bilingual
