Key Responsibilities

Assessment and Treatment Planning

The Clinical Specialist will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients, other program staff, and agency referral sources.

Counseling and Education

The Clinical Specialist will provide individual and group counseling sessions, as well as education and didactic group sessions, to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.

Documentation and Reporting

The Clinical Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with agency, licensing, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Clinical Specialist will possess a master's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling or social work, and relevant experience working with individuals with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
