Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Diagnostic Support: Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history, take and process x-rays, and utilize diagnostic assessments.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide superior support to dentists during procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, manage supply and inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

We are a team-oriented and patient-focused office, located in Madison, WI. Our 12-person team thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences, while providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, experience in a fast-paced customer-centric environment, and dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
  • Preferred Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental setting, Dentrix or other dental software experience, and dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Essential Duties: Ability to perform duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
