Job Title: Library Specialist CL3

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Library Specialist CL3. This is a part-time, weekend and evening position located in USM Libraries, Portland and Gorham campuses.

Job Summary:

The Library Specialist CL3 will provide a variety of services and support to our students, faculty, and staff, including information services, circulation assistance, reference, e-reserves, and assistance with navigating academic support services. The successful candidate will have excellent service skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide information services to students, faculty, and staff
  • Assist with circulation and reference services
  • Support e-reserves and digital library services
  • Assist with navigating academic support services
  • Provide technology and computer support
  • Supervise library student assistants
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) and one year of specialized training or education in library related services
  • OR, High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) and five years of library support experience
