We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Vista Community Clinic - Vista. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Chair Side: Provide support to dentists and hygienists during procedures, including taking impressions, applying topical agents, and removing post-extractions and periodontal dressings.
- Patient Flow Management: Coordinate patient flow from reception to operatories, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
- X-ray Operations: Operate x-ray equipment to take complete and/or selective oral radiographic services, process images, and arrange them in a format as appropriate.
- Education and Certification: High school graduate or equivalent with post-high school vocational/specialized training, certification of completion of Registered Dental Assistant Exam, Coronal Polishing Certificate, Radiation Safety Certificate, and Current CPR Certification.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum two years' experience working as a registered dental assistant in a high-volume dental practice, operational experience with x-ray machine, sterilizing equipment, ultrasonic equipment, laboratory equipment, and other dental practice-related equipment.
- Language and Communication: Bilingual English/Spanish, ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Competitive Compensation: $22-$26/hour.
